The desk is about 1 km from the A1 motorway, with the exit via the Bornsestraat. Heading for Germany afterwards? From Hengelo, the A1 becomes the German A30 at De Lutte.
Arranging your export by post from anywhere
Cannot come to Hengelo? The export can also be prepared online. The yellow plates then reach us by post or courier, and we send the documents and plates back insured and with tracking, also abroad. If the vehicle is already outside the Netherlands, we can arrange the export with the kentekenbewijs deel II (the Dutch export certificate) entirely remotely, by post: DHL standard takes around 5 working days, DHL Express around 1 working day. Can I just turn up at the desk during opening hours?
Yes, during office hours, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30. It is still a good idea to call or send a WhatsApp message about 20 minutes before you arrive.
Are you open outside office hours?
By appointment, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, including Sundays. A higher rate can apply, so call or message first for the price.
How far is the desk from Germany?
The A1 from Hengelo becomes the German A30 at De Lutte. From the desk, Gronau is about 29 km away (roughly 25 to 30 minutes) and Bad Bentheim about 35 km (roughly 30 minutes).
